Himurja has been designated by Himachal Pradesh Government as the Nodal Agency for registration of Solar Projects, co-ordination, facilitation administration of State & Government of India incentives and grant of consents/approval etc. The Solar Power Developer will have to identify land (whether own or on lease basis) and then execute the Project from the beginning till commissioning of the Project. Himurja will monitor the progress of execution of the Solar Power Projects. In this regard, you must also grant access to the remote monitoring portal of the Power Plants on a 24X7 basis.

Quick Information:

• The Solar Power Projects can be installed on land owned by the developer or can be taken on lease.
• Processing fees of Rs 5000=00 per project up to 1 M.W. and Rs 25000=00 above 1 M.W. up to 5 M.W. will have to be paid by the developer.
• Provisional allotment will be done by HIMURJA and after successful commissioning, the Permanent registration will also be done by HIMURJA.
• Timelines have been fixed for the allotment of the project.
• The Solar Power Project has to be commissioned in 18 to 24 months or as per the date finalized in the PPA.
• The Solar Project Developer is at liberty to dispose of the Power generated in any manner as they choose i.e. captive consumption, sale to any consumer within the State, sale to the consumer outside the State and sale to HPSEBL.
• The Government of Himachal Pradesh reserves the right to reject any or all the applications without assigning any reasons.
